General Laborer

Our General laborers to assist with underground utility work as part of a pipe crew. We’re seeking hard-working candidates ready to launch their careers. Great attitudes and a desire to learn about different career paths within our company is what we are looking for with this role. 

  • Supporting the pipe layers and top guys in their tasks

    Highest expectation of quality work

    Ability to take direction and provide support to peers

    Directions will be communicated to you, but always be looking for tasks to help the rest of the team

  • Previous experience with side dumps, step decks, and straight truck and trailers; Lowboy experience is a plus, but not required

    Ability to follow direction with strong attention to detail

    Maintain dependability and responsibility to be at work on time

    Ability to work extended hours during the construction season

Class A CDL Truck Driver

Our truck drivers have a minimum of three years of experience with a Class A CDL.

  • Hauling gravel, rock, pipes, trench boxes, and other underground utility equipment.

    Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on trucks

    Ensuring trucks are maintained and used in accordance with the company safety program

    Performs other tasks as needed

  • Previous experience with side dumps, step decks, and straight truck and trailers; Lowboy experience is a plus, but not required

    Ability to follow direction with strong attention to detail

    Maintain dependability and responsibility to be at work on time

    Ability to work extended hours during the construction season

Pipe Layer

Ideally, our pipelayers have a minimum of three years of experience. Candidates with less experience will be considered if they are hard-working and willing to learn new skills.

  • Set proper grades and elevations

    Install water, storm-water, sewer structures, and pipe systems

    Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or plans and coordinating layouts with supervisors

    High expectation of quality work

    Ability to take direction and provide support to peers – team minded

    Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality production

    Visually inspect work areas so the work can be efficiently and safely completed

    Maintain dependability and responsibility to be at work on time

  • General knowledge of underground utility work including materials, methods, and tools involved in the installation

    Ability to follow procedures with strong attention to detail

    Ability to repetitively lift and carry at least 60 lbs. on a consistent basis

    Be able to walk, bend, twist, and maintain sure footedness on sometimes uneven or unstable ground

    Ability to work extended hours during the construction season

Scraper Operator

Our scraper operators are a part of our grading team with 1-2+ years of experience around grading work.

  • Interprets information on grade stakes

    Cuts and spreads fill material with scraper

    Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment

    Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with the company safety program

    Performs other tasks as needed

  • Prior experience operating large scale heavy equipment

    Ability to follow direction with strong attention to detail

    Willingness to learn GPS on equipment

    Maintain dependability and responsibility to be at work on time

    Ability to work extended hours during the construction season

Top Guy

Our Top Guy workers assist with underground utility work as part of a pipe crew. Candidates with underground utility experience are preferred; more importantly, we are looking for hard-working candidates who are wanting to launch their career.

  • Set proper grades and elevations

Loader and Excavator Operator

Our Loader and Excavator Operators bring 1-2+ years of experience around underground utility work.

  • Loading and unloading trucks

    Communicate with the excavator operators, truck drivers, and pipe layers to make sure they have the materials needed to complete their tasks

    Be flexible to help in other areas outside of the loader

  • General knowledge of underground utility work including materials, methods, and tools involved in the installation

    Ability to load various types of trailers safely and effectively with trench boxes, buckets, rock boxes, and extra pipe and materials

    Good communication skills

    Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to take direction

    Ability to do heavy lifting around the loader and job site

    Ability to work extended hours during the construction season
